Learn to Scuba Dive with Summit Divers

Summit Divers' comprehensive open water certification course introduces new divers to the fundamentals of scuba diving. Learn essential skills, equipment use, and dive safety through a combination of classroom and online learning, pool sessions, and open-water dives, guided by a professional instructor from start to finish. Class fee includes: SSI digital course materials, in-person classes, pool training sessions, rental scuba gear, tanks, instructor fee, and open water instruction, typically at Lake Mohave.

Students are required to have personal equipment (mask, snorkel, fins and boots). Personal equipment packages are available at a discount for our open water students. Students are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, food, and entrance fee for the open water sessions at the lake.

Summit Divers offers a pool-only refresher class designed for certified divers who want to rebuild comfort and confidence before returning to open water. Review essential skills, equipment use, and safety procedures with a professional instructor in a relaxed, controlled environment—no open-water dives required.
